The Rugby Section is divided into three groups,Seniors, Juniors & Mini’s.With five senior teams we are now one of the largest clubs in the North East.The firsts compete in Durham and Northumberland Division 1,the seconds play in the CANDY(Cumbria and Northumberland,Durham Yorkshire) 2nd team league,the thirds in the Durham County Junior League and the fourths play a more social style of rugby.The Under 21s compete in the North East Freshers League.
Awarded the RFU Seal of Approval, the firsts, runners up in DN1 2006/2007 season and the Durham County Challenge Cup. The third team winners of the Durham County Junior league displays the clubs committment to development & future progress.
Whether you are a newcomer to the game or a long standing supportter you are welcome to be part of the club.
The club offers the opportunity for newcomers to the area to play or watch rugby across all levels from Minis and junior sections though Youth Development and Senior rugby with coaching and matches taking place throughout the season.
If anyone is interested in Playing, spectating or participating in Rugby regardless of age or experience, you will be made welcome. Refer to the contact list for details of whom to contact.
